Thomas Bell

Thomas Bell is the protagonist of this James Bond style franchise. In Paloma Azul, we first meet Thomas Bell who is a young, rookie agent who works for MIX. MIX is an ultra-secret division of British Military intelligence. In order to maintain a completely clandestine facade, MIX is fronted up as a firm of accountants called Charles Carrington & Co who operate from a non-descript office block in the City of London. In order to maintain their cover in the field, all agents have to train as accountants. What you might call - 'beancounters with balls'.

Ilya Pago

Ilya Pago is an arch-villain who deals in hard drugs and hardcore pornography. He's not averse to kidnapping, prostitution, torture and murder. He enjoys power and hurting people but deep down inside he is a coward. He'll go to extreme lengths to hang on to his criminal empire.

Sienna Hutton

Sienna Hutton has just completed her university studies and is off to the party island of Ibiza to drink like a fish, take some pills and get laid. Luckily for her, she doesn't have to stay in a sparse apartment in San Antonio because her parents own a beautiful villa in sleepy S'Argamassa. She's been to Ibiza before of course and knows all the places to go. Manumission, Ibiza Rocks, Labyrinth Club, Esclavo Bar, K Club and El Divino. She's going to lose her inhibitions and her knickers in an orgy of partying. What could possibly go wrong?

Anatoly Kadic

Anatoly Kadic works for Ilya Pago as head of security. He learned his trade in Bosnia and Serbia where the hostilities and ethnic cleansing allowed him to carry out atrocities. Kadic survives on a cocktail of drugs to keep his psychotic murdering tendencies under control. He's pleased to have landed this great job in one of the wildest of the Balearic islands where he can still indulge his passion for violence and pussy. Without pharmaceutical support, he'd start to scratch his face off, have fits and foam at the mouth. Gone are the days of firing artillery shells into Sarajevo and shooting defenceless civilians in deep snow. Now he can enjoy a lazy place in the sun where there's rarely any trouble...for now.

Anna Lanika

Anna Lanika also contributes to Ilya Pago's Ibiza operation. She's a hard-boiled lesbian who controls dozens of incarcerated girls. She metes out punishments to the ones who don't perform to her exacting requirments. She takes testosterone supplements and is worried about getting older.

El Cartero

Aka Julio de la Concepcion Silvestre, El Cartero ("the postman") is the head hitman for the Alacran drug cartel. He had a rough ride growing up in Mexico City, clawing his way up through the ranks of the tough guys. His military training has also worked well for him in his chosen profession. He's flown over to Europe to carry out some important cartel business (unfinished, that is).

Lambda

Lambda heads up MIX and is Thomas Bell's boss. Everyone in MIX has a licence to kill, it's what they do. Officially, MIX does not even exist but this does not stop it having a very good relationship with the CIA. The Central Intelligence Agency is only too happy to share its technological kit in the complicated European theatre of operations - after all, DARPA has spent enough time developing this stuff. Lambda liaises at arms length with the other security services - MI5, MI6 and GCHQ, and deals directly with the PM and the foreign secretary. MIX gets all the exotic, weird stuff to deal with that could threaten the wellbeing of the Western hemisphere. He's old school...Royal Navy, years in British intelligence, golf and gentlemens' clubs, with an analytical mind like a cut-throat razor.

Reynhard Heydrich

Reynhard Heydrich, aka "The butcher of Prague", was assassinated in 1942 by partisans. As deputy to Heinrich Himmler, he was high up in Nazi Germany. Armed with the right technology and some of his cells in a cryogenic freezer, anything might be possible.

Sebastiano Estrella

Sebastiano Estrella is a Spanish financier who controls a worldwide investment fund. He started off in his father's bank as a teenager and developed a deep understanding of money and economics. With connections in many governments at the highest level, he has the ability to influence some of the big decisions which affect the West. This ability isn't popular with everyone. He's a family man with a penchant for good food, expensive cars and the opera. He also has some unconventional weaknesses which might be his undoing.

Flavia Radice

A beautiful Italian girl of twenty two with brown hair, dark eyes and a body to kill for. Flavia is a TV hopeful and celebrity wannabe who can't sing but knows how to make men happy in order to get what she wants. She perfected her skills at school near Milan where she grew up. Heavy petting in the bicycle sheds prepares you well for TV presenting, game shows and Italian government ministers.
